We met you at the Tortugas backstage area...and we have our tickets already for NYE at the Independent. We have a credit card that gets us points for free stays at Hilton hotels, so we're staying free at the Hilton in the Financial District. Guess we'll be cabbing it...We also have some friends with a great restaurant right down the street from the Independent, about a half block south. It's called NOPA, and I highly recommend it. Good stuff. -

Tue, November 27, 2007 - 9:34 AMgot my nye run tickets, and staying with liz and some other wood bees in a condo near 12g's..... yes, we will have BACON & mimosas in the morning, every morning!!
i think the plan for NYE is to head over to 12g's after the independent to catch the 2nd set of the turtles (2nd set starts at 2AM), then stay for the DJs and bacon!!
chad -- you've definitely met liz before -- hsmf 07, alo at the BUT, end of summer party at Joy & BJ's w/ delta nove (liz was the one glow-hooping on the roof)..... -

Wed, November 28, 2007 - 12:43 PMI'll predict the 30th to be the bestest of the the two your are debating.... lots of people along with me are doing double headers on the 29th (ground zero) and 31st (anon salon).... but the 30th most will do just one...
Looking to the past.... 2006 had no 30th show... , 2005 I'd say the 30th was the premium when lookin' at both 29th and 30th setlist's....
